Calvert SCD offers a variety of programs, incentives, and events for farmers of all ages. The equipment rental program is a huge incentive for farmers/landowners/operators to sign up as a cooperator with the district. Some popular equipment rentals are the fence post-driver, no-till drills, and seeders. Becoming a cooperator is a simple and painless process that provides you with access to all equipment. More importantly, being a cooperator will put you in touch with a farm planner and/or technician who are happy to answer questions about your farm and conserving the land. No farm is the same and our staff is happy to provide insight to your particular farm’s strengths and weaknesses.
