2003 Farm Tour
On November 13, the District hosted its Annual Farm Tour. One of our stops was Blue Seal Mill in Hagerstown where we saw the inspection of grain, the making of pellets, and the bagging process. We also toured their laboratory. Afterward we boarded the bus again and headed for the pavestone Factory where we learned about the making of concrete landscaping products from start to finish, including cutting the concrete, shaping it, heating it, packing it, and shipping it out.
