Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)

The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is a voluntary conservation program that addresses agricultural, natural resource, and environmental concerns in local watershed areas. These funds are used to provide technical, financial, and educational assistance for farmers who are faced with serious threats to soil, water, and other related natural resources. EQIP offers incentive payments and cost sharing for structural and nonstructural Best Management Practices (BMPs).
